Singing in the Rain is a love story. It has a ton of singing, dancing and involvment with the characters. I like the movie because you learn from the actor(s) and actress(s) mistakes, and then you want to do better than them by making your self a better person so you don’t make the same mistakes that they did. Even…[Read more]

  • #moviereview #castrecording I watched the musical South Pacific by Rodgers and Hammerstein. I love The Sound of Music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, so I figured I would enjoy South Pacific, too. Well, I didn’t. Bloody Mary (a Chinese lady in the movie) is really creepy and most of the movie doesn’t even really fit together. It’s all…[Read more]

My brother, dad, and I went to see Les Miserables with the Broadway on Tour showing. Needless to say, it was AMAZING. My favorite character was probably Eponine. Her character and music has so much emotion. I learned all of the songs the next day :)

The musical I watched today was on DVD, and it is called The Wiz. My favorite character is the scarecrow played by Michael Jackson. I like the scarecrow because I like how he wants a brain but later doesn’t get it because he realizes that is actually really smart.

His summer i went to: “Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat” which my cousin was in.
It was a nice show with people pretty new to a stage but they were amazing. My favorite character was either Joseph (who was a really good singer), my cousin (dispite that she didnt have a prominent role), or this little kid that did…[Read more]

  • My alltime favorite musical is The sound of music. I can’t really choose a favorite character. The von trappe family is such an inspiration! aptain von trapp shows that even the toughest of men have a soft side and love their family, even through trauma. The children show that there will always be something to make you happy “raindrops on roses…[Read more]

I watched Phantom of the Opera. To be honest my favorite character would have to be evil guy, the one who sets the stage and all, The Phantom of the Opera. He was intriguing and yet even scary at times. I feel horrible at his becoming childhood from his past, but even from what had happened, he’s simply mad! lol I love him and…[Read more]

    • i love phantom of the opera! and yeah, i fell bad for the phantom too. its so sad about how he was treated when he was little. But its kinda creepy how much the phantom likes to wrap ropes around peoples necks and strangle them…. so maybe it was right for the girl to choose Raul, afterall i dont think she would enjoy living in the basement for…[Read more]

      • lol I see your point. True true, he is creepy but I guess that’s why I find him so interesting lol I’m weird XD Sad thing though, is that the girl in the end she died, like how the show it at the end of the movie. :( so nobody gets her for long.

The Sound of Music is definitely my favorite musical. I’ve seen it SO many times. My favorite character is Maria, who is the main character. I love how she thinks individually and does what is best for her, even when no one else agrees.

Just listened to the soundtrack to American Idiot! (Yes the musical was on Broadway!) I’d have to say my favorite character is St. Jimmy….also the main character. He’s my fave because most of the songs on the soundtrack are related to him and I just love the storyline:)

In reply to: maddyjoy posted an update #moviereview Seven Brides For Seven Brothers one of my favorite movies!! it is Hilarious!! an old movie but a great watch!! View

Watching the Seven Brides for Seven Brothers counts for #castrecording.
Listen to an entire cast recording of a Broadway Musical or watch a musical on DVD or on stage. Write a post about a character you like and why you like them.

Maybe you could watch it again, or pick a new musical.

  • The musical I watched was Mamma Mia! It was a really good movie and the character I like the most was Rosie, played by Julie Walters, because she was really funny and was excitable and made the musical have a little spice and made it really funny. #castrecording
